Registration, Immunizations, & Health

Here at May ISD, we welcome new students and their families! If you are new to our area and need to register for school, simply visit our district office. We will be happy to help you fill out the necessary paperwork for registration. When you come, please be sure to bring the following documents with you:

  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • Your child’s immunization records
  • Proof of residency (in the form of a utility bill)
  • Any records from your child’s previous school

If you would like to tour our campus, please let our staff know, and we’ll be happy to show you around. We know you’ll fall in love with our small class sizes and our nurturing environment.

Our school district follows the immunization policy mandated by the state of Texas. Students must be up-to-date on their immunizations in order to attend school. When you come to register your child, we will need to verify your child’s immunizations. To keep everyone safe and healthy, we cannot allow children without immunizations to be in school if an outbreak of illness occurs.

We’ve included a complete list of immunization requirements as well as the health department website for you at the side of this page.

Head Lice

Please take a moment of your time to read up on head lice. Lice was reported at May ISD on September 19, 2017. These pesky critters are not fun to deal with, and we want to make sure our school community is fully aware of how to treat this problem when it arises.
