Today, the halls of May ISD are filled with both happy memories and a few bittersweet tears as we honor four incredible women who have dedicated their hearts to our students and community.

* **Rene Graves (Cafeteria & Bus Driver):** Whether it was a warm meal or a safe ride home, Rene has been a constant, caring presence in our students' daily lives.
* **Toni Vanderford (Elementary Aide):** The "quiet hero" of the classroom. Your patience and kindness have made a lasting impact on so many lives.
**To our retirees:** You haven't just worked at May ISD; you’ve helped build it. While we will miss seeing you every day, we are so excited for your next chapters. Thank you for the decades of dedication, the early mornings, and the lifelong lessons.

May Elementary Field Day 2026 is in the books! It was cold, but lots of fun! A special thank you to Coaches Sandoval for planning, facilitating and manning the press box! We also appreciate our cheerleaders for keeping us fed and hydrated with the concession stand. Our great HS student volunteers did a great job manning each station. We love our community of support!

More Robotics projects
May Elementary 5th and 6th grade students have been building Robots this semester. Today, they showcased their projects, and were able to teach other students about their processes for creating robots that accomplish specific tasks.
